are nokia lumias good phones? im thinking buying? one

Beats Audio is actually a hardware amp that’s built inside the phone. If you use higher end headphones, Audio Technica, Klipsch, ect, you will get a lot more performance with them and will work with some headphones that require more power. Nokia actually has something similar in? their Lumia, they just don’t advertise it as much as HTC does with their Beats Audio product. Both should be very similar.

Ive been thinking of a MS buyout of Nokia for a while, & maybe… just maybe a MS buyout of Texas Instrument! TI makes their own processors which are actually damn good, if they got in bed with Intel or something & learned the ropes of ARM designed processors they could like half the price of their phones &? tablets!

especially when you weigh in? how overpriced their products are, and not much better than that of a 100 dollar sennheisers, sony, yamaha, tdk, or pretty much anything besides.

I agree? with that. its just the brand “Beats” there are many good and quality HP out there

To confim the Beats Audio is nothing more than a DBB ( Sony ) or common bass boost or loudness function. It actually? spoils the audio quality substantially, and my HTC one x has poor audio quality compared to my Nokia Lumia 800, which is almost audiophile quality, and superior to apple. Just make sure you encode audio with fruanhoffer MP3 drivers and use at least 256K, If you appreciate audio this is minimum standards.

i believe the nokia lumia can connect just as a USB mass storage device whihc is a BIG winner in my eyes as its predecessors needed Zune (windows version of itunes) and it sucked big time.
now my question is can i still connect my nokia lumia 920 running? windows 8 on my pc running windows XP ?

  12. jt663 June 6, 2013 at 2:29 pm

The 920 was £250 to upgrade and the 8x? was only £150. Its not worth the extra £100 imo

is it possible to transfer music from your iphone to windows 8? phone

  17. TheFinalCoreCOMPANY June 6, 2013 at 3:56 pm

    indonesian spotted.?

  18. QuadratNatter June 6, 2013 at 4:36 pm

Actually, Beats Audio is just some kind of equalizer setting that gets activated when you plug in headphones, and it doesn’t make the music sound that much better, that? it would outweigh the pro’s of the lumia, whose audio quality isn’t bad, but actually pretty good, but to get the best results with any device, headphones are way more important than the device itself. and Beats (Monster) is by far not the best manufacturer on the market 🙂

dude heavy? phones always feel good in your hand:o lol

  20. Shawn Hinzman June 6, 2013 at 6:15 pm

BUT, the Lumia 920 offers TWICE the storage space at half the price. That should count toward music shouldn’t it?

BTW, is? the the Christy Lopes that used to work at UTi in Parkersburg, WV?

  21. Shawn Hinzman June 6, 2013 at 6:42 pm

If only they could force the Lumia 920 specs & price into the HTC? 8X body.

  22. Shawn Hinzman June 6, 2013 at 7:25 pm

Now I understand why Nokia really pushed the Lumia 900 when they did. Sure, it had a few problems that they could have fixed before they put it out there. There were complaints and nit-picks… BUT, they got their name out there. They saw how people reacted to the Lumia 900 and quickly solved those problems with the Lumia 920. Lumia 900was almost like an affordable BETA test for? the 920… and Nokia got it right.

HAHHA I love that, I? have a Hand towel, Because I can’t find my gloves lol

  24. Jackie Reilly June 6, 2013 at 8:35 pm

if there is one thing i learned? from this comparison it’s that black people have no white friends

  25. Christy Lopes June 6, 2013 at 9:12 pm

Both are great phones, bottom line is do you listen to music or not? The windows HTC has beats audio that outweighs anything that the lumnia offers… even with a better camera on its side. Music is life and? that is why I personally prefer the 8X, everyone is different 🙂
