Ten years into the future, film makers finally devised ways for characters to not get a signal in a horror movie … until all phones started having satellite features, which sent them right back to square one.

Thirty years later, they finally got around that problem … until all the pervasive cellphone? use starting giving humans psychic powers, and they were back to square one again.

Wow, I forgot that they made cellphones that huge, even though I had? one of those nokia bricks.

  3. Twistvenue February 23, 2012 at 10:37 am

Logical answer : All killers carry signal? jammers…?

  4. agentj900 February 23, 2012 at 11:00 am

@guyman2111 Quarantine does not suck. The most? overused plot cliche is running upstairs when should out. Why Youtube got rid of friend feature.

  5. MightyPhalus February 23, 2012 at 11:49 am

3:33 he’s using it in the water. Doesn’t work? so just throw it in the water. LOL. Redundant, but funny.

  6. MightyPhalus February 23, 2012 at 12:49 pm

@DonalLynchyou Now they just find victims with? Boost Mobile.

    first world problems?

  9. guyman2111 February 23, 2012 at 2:37 pm

In all fairness, some of those movies had had? reasonable reasons why the phones had no coverage. Like in Quarantine (not defending the movie cause it sucked) the CDC probably had a jammer or something. Just saying…

  10. ukeuwatch February 23, 2012 at 2:56 pm

@DonalLynchyou Perhaps they should blow up the cellular mast, or set up a jammer. To be fair, if you wanted to kill a? bunch of people by leading them to an isolated spot, it would be most effective to choose one with no coverage. I guess people concerned about elaborate psychopathic killers should get satellite phones.

22 people have the same service provider as these? movies.

  12. Rachou321 February 23, 2012 at 4:16 pm

To be fair, if they had signal, the movie would end after 2 minutes… But it still? bothers me no one has yet found a way around that clich√© in horror movies.

  13. chrisx2k6 February 23, 2012 at 4:57 pm

Another way that they can elude cell? phones is by always setting the movie pre 90’s…I think this is the best option rather than some ridiculous writing to get by.

  14. chrisx2k6 February 23, 2012 at 5:20 pm

ALSO IN HORROR MOVIES, when people can communicate? they just NEVER GET THE WORDS OUT…Somebody will think Jimmy is the killer, but they just sit there with a worried look on their face…Or, they notice a zombie bite mark on somebody but just can’t get around to mentioning it to anybody else in the car…The list goes on and on.

  15. TobiasBoon1980 February 23, 2012 at 6:06 pm

I don’t know you, but I love you for making this. In fact I’m gonna call? you and… ah damn. No signal.

  22. jbear0000 February 23, 2012 at 9:28 pm

Also in horror movies cars never start,? people trip and can’t stand back up and just hang around an area where people are being killed.
