@67576856666478964567 i tried my hands on unbuntu but i wasn’t technical enough. a simple analogy, i can walk to office everyday. it’s free and got tons of benefits. but i prefer to pay up for public transpo. i have an exercise program anyway. windows? just works for me. i can do HD NLE, every connectivity possible (like virtual machine through my mobile phone), upgrade to the latest hardware and not worry about compatibilty. That’s a form of freedom for me.
@irurwurst
Not sure who that is or what he did, but that is the basic premise behind the licence which most Linux software is released, the GNU Public Licence.
You may have heard of the term Open Source, which is just another way? of saying Free Software (free as in freedom). Most Free Software is free as in free beer, too.
Search for: Revolution OS
Its a documentary about Linux.

Hey, I know nothing about Linux, so could you tell? me one thing: is it like what Kevin Flynn was doing before Tron: Legacy, where he gave away software for free and permitted it to be modified and stuff?
@67576856666478964567 I use BOTH but I like Windows better. And I have Ubuntu 11.4 Installed in a VM. And yes I like to try different OSe’s, specially Beta or alpha. And the reason I like Windows More It’s? the software that’s available for it. I tried installing my Windows software with Wine in Ubuntu but the software its unstable. I got a Virus on Windows once. Never happened again. I got used to using Windows and Mac OS but Ubuntu or any linux/GNU distribution its not for me.To each their own.
@Gallifrey103 unicorns?
@67576856666478964567 Usually when somebody mentions Linux I just give up and day “You’re right,” because they are. Linux rocks. However – it does not run well on all systems, and tends to hate many different high-end graphic and audio cards. When it works it offers an? amazing user experience and just all around rocks. Note though that for the most part you should be ready to put some effort into into it: simple tasks such as installing Java are made a bit more difficult than necessary.
I’d like to try working on a Unicorn -? looks like fun!
Windows. The ONLY right? choice.
@djjosemaster
I don’t use Mac either, I respect myself. That’s why I also? don’t use Windows. How about you pull your fucking head out of your ass for a second and think. I know, it’s a revolutionary thing for you to do, but you really should try it.
GNU/Linux is superior to both. Freedom and advanced technology – for FREE. No invasive, privacy invading licences. No spending hundreds of dollars on shitty Windows when Linux is free. Linux is much safer than Windows, which is a virus magnet.
@67576856666478964567 like if mac os is any better.?
Google: windows 7 sins
I don’t use Windows. You? shouldn’t, either.

Don’t rely on twitter,? facebook or anything else for getting any work done. I never use these social networks and never will. If somebody needs to contact me, either text, phone or email is all I need.
