Yes it was a fantastic deal! The remodeling and additions cost over $3 million alone. It was quite a fall from the majestic over $12 million that it was originally priced at… to selling at the $1.8M. The Seller purchased it for $3.2 M from McCain plus the? time and additional $3 million to fix it up…… Its the Somebody sad / Somebody happy…… situation.
I wish I knew this house was on sale at a huge bargain.. I would have brought it. Its really a nice? house. And all the remodeling what a deal..

There was a lot of furniture? there… some big furniture for the spaces…..
The McCain’s did not own it when it was listed at 12 Million. It was the investor who purchased the home from the McCains. They sold it to the investor for $3.2. The investor ? remodeled…? Added buildings to the property … invested about another $3.0 Million total. The investor thought they could capitalize on McCain being in the White House. With that not happening and the market crash…brought this property down to finally sell at the $1.8. The huge loss was to the investor.
Why such? a huge reduction?
If McCain owned it they should have sold it for a dime.? How is a 12million dollar home going to sell for 1.8 mil. I guess the american people had to pay the rest of that original 12 million.
If that was McCain’s home, I would sweep? it for bugs. If he hears the word terrorist he might imprison you without trial. What a great guy. Everyone, give up your rights for security.

I had to favorite this home. I was sold with the Master Suite. Simply gorgeous. The Background music alone was? inviting to me. VERY NICE.
