Question by SN1332: What should the Phoenix Suns do in their current position for this season?
What moves (or maybe no moves at all) should the Phoenix Suns make to improve this season and move back to a position where they are a serious 2009 NBA championship contender.
Should they be making more trades (Amare trade rumors)?

They should throw the biggest Ice Cream party this world has ever seen. And it could be decorated with purple and orange. WEEEEEEEE

Trade Amare, sign a free agent and they’re set.
I like the trade with Portland. Lamarcus Aldridge is a good player and Jerrad Bayless can become a superstar if given more minutes, which he will get in Pheonix. I say do the trade!
I think they need to hold on to Amare. If you look at the team, they are in a position where Nash is not going to last too much longer, Shaq…well he’s been on the decline for years. I think they need to keep Amare and promise him that they will make some big moves in the next couple of seasons. I would watch out for the Suns to fall again next year, free up more cap space and make a run for Dwayne Wade in the 2010 free agent market. This would create a lineup with Nash, Wade, Richardson, Amare and Shaq…they would take this lineup and make a championship run, but then, after Nash and Shaq retire, they have less holes to fill. Plus if they do poorly this in the 09-10 season, they will be able to lock up a good draft pick. The Suns are going to be looking at getting something in the next couple of years and make one run…then they will start rebuilding (with no time in the tank)
PHOENIX needs to get its act together
hold on to AMARE trade nash and Shaq to get some one up aand coming with a team that need instant help not in the long run
get a free agent
give up
Fire Terry Porter. He sucks!
